Fast Pace Medical Celebrates Greenville Groundbreaking

GREENVILLE, Mississippi – Fast Pace Health, one of the largest urgent care providers in the United States, celebrated the groundbreaking of its new Greenville clinic on June 15th. This facility, located on Highway 1 South, will be open 7 days a week and will offer a variety of services to the community, including cold and flu treatment, stitches and drug testing for employers.

Members of the community gathered at the site of the new clinic to celebrate this investment into the community and the new access to healthcare that it brings to the citizens of Greenville.

Mayor Errick Simmons thanked Fast Pace for continuing to invest in rural communities. “When you think about rural communities, when you think about health, when you think about economic development, it’s all in one right here with Fast Pace,” said Mayor Simmons. “It’s not only going to meet our healthcare needs, but it’s also going to meet our economic development needs, with over 10 people that are going to be employed right here at the Greenville location.”

Ward 1 City Councilman Al Brock echoed “I too want to thank Fast Pace for making their commitment and investment in our community,” said Councilman Brock. “We’re proud to have them as part of our medical community. The offerings that they bring will enhance the opportunities that our citizens have, and our community will have good healthcare. That is extremely important.

Will Coppage, Executive Director of the Washington County Economic Alliance is excited to see more development on the Highway 1 corridor. “When I see dirt turning, I get really excited. When we talk about investment into rural communities, this is what we’re talking about,” said Coppage. “Washington County, Mississippi is full of investment, full of development, and we’re seeing that today with Fast Pace Health.”
