Chamber to host Loving Local Community Open House

Here at the Washington County Economic Alliance and the Chamber of Commerce our top priority is our members. We are saddened this year, due to recent events, that we were not able to hold our annual meeting at which time businesses and restaurants could show off their products and services to the community. To pivot and push forward, our organization wants to encourage all businesses in Washington County to participate in our Loving Local Community Open House.

This event will be community wide and take place from August 6th – 8th. As a business, you may participate in a variety of ways by offering a multitude of specials – from giveaways, to social media deals, to early bird deals, etc. The sky is the limit as to what your business can showcase to the community.

To encourage in-store spending, businesses may opt in to be included in the Loving Local Community Raffle. If a business chooses to donate a gift card or prize of $50 in value, it will become a raffle location. For every $25 the customer spends with you, they will have the opportunity to register for the Loving Local Community Raffle.

We will be promoting the Loving Local Community Open House through traditional and social media outlets. Businesses participating in the raffle will be listed on flyers and other deliverables. We are also looking for Loving Local Community Open House Sponsors to help ensure the success of this event. Sponsors will be promoted on all event advertising. Sponsor levels are:

Loving Local Community Sponsor: $1,000.00
Loving Local Neighborhood Sponsor: $500.00
Loving Local Block Sponsor: $250.00
