Ribbon Cutting for Electrical Lineman Training Facility at MDCC Campus
Sep 24, 2019
We are excited to announce the official opening of our new Electrical Lineman Training Facility! The new building provides a much-needed and more conducive learning environment for our students. As the need for qualified workers in this field are in demand, we are now able to accommodate more students per class because of this facility. The current class size of 21 students would not be possible without this new building. Thank you to our funding partners for making this vision a reality!
The Lineman program depends on the dedication and support of many individuals. Each 16-week, hands-on course is taught by tremendous instructors with lineman experience and education. MDCC’s Capps Center does a great job coordinating the day-to-day operations and administration of the program. Since the first class in 2010, MDCC’s Utility Lineman Training program has achieved a placement rate of more than 95%. Visit thecappscenter.com to learn more!
