Greenville Native Named Interim-Chamber Director of the WCEA

Greenville, MS – The Washington County Economic Alliance (WCEA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kay Sipes as the Interim-Chamber Director. Sipes is a Greenville native and comes to the WCEA with numerous years of chamber of commerce and economic development experience.
“We are thrilled to have Kay join our team,” said executive director Cary Karlson. “Kay has over 18 years of Chamber and economic development experience. We believe Kay’s talents will help us to continue to grow the Chamber and business community of Washington County.”
Sipes previously served as the Executive Assistant/Project Manager for the Tunica County Chamber of Commerce. In her new capacity she will work to bolster the Chamber’s memberships, services, and events.
“I am looking forward to reconnecting with my hometown and the business community,” said Sipes. “I am excited for the opportunity to join the WCEA team to help make a positive impact for the future of Washington County.”
