Washington County Economic Alliance’s Annual Meeting was a Success with 600 Attendees!

The Washington County Economic Alliance's (WCEA) Annual Meeting kicked off the evening of April 10, 2018 with over 50 WCEA/Chamber Businesses showcasing what services they have to offer and 19 WCEA/Chamber restaurants providing a delicious tasting of their cuisine. Then Cary Karlson, Executive Director of the WCEA, awarded the following awards: Betty Lynn Cameron Ambassador of the Year Award to Mary Jo Coombes; Larry Cazavan Leadership Award to Katherine Shamoon; Jake Stein Small Business Enterprise Award to the Country Gentleman; Chuck Jordan Leadership Award to both Parker England and Terri Lane; and Peter Watzek Volunteerism Award to Dr. Wayne Ebelhar.
Guests learned about the county's workforce, available sites & buildings, Delta Strong, WCEA video contest and to continue to move forward starts with all of us, telling our story! We ended the night with entertainment by Mentalist Magician, Joshua Lozoff. Joshua's magic combines amazing illusions with mental feats that explore the possibilities of the human mind.
