Customer Training Classes Now Offered at CAPPS Technology Center

Greenville, MS – The Washington County Economic Alliance (WCEA) is pleased to announce the Capps Technology Center, the workforce training arm of MS Delta Community College, is enrolling now for their Customer Service Training Class.
Class Dates: Aug. 29th – Sept. 7th
Class Days: Classes will meet every Tuesday and Thursday Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Location: Capps Technology Center, Indianola (Next to the Dollar General Distribution Warehouse on HWY 82)
Cost: $60
Students will be taught from the Vital Learning’s Winning Through Customer Service curriculum. Students will be training on the importance of their appearance, attitude, communication, and professionalism. Students will also learn how to handle difficult requests and customers. These topics are reinforced with videos, skill exercises, and group exercises. “We know how important having good customer service skills are to our retail establishments, our service industry members, and our manufacturing partners. Having this training available to address these needs will help strengthen our workforce training efforts here in Washington County,” stated Cary Karlson, Executive Director of the Washington County Economic Alliance.
The Customer Service training is the prerequisite of the Hospitality Academy, also provided by the Capps Technology Center. The Hospitality Academy offers a wide variety of training needs for kitchen staff, restaurant servers, front desk representatives, guest room attendants, and maintenance employee training.
