Washington County Economic Alliance’s Healthcare Committee is going to host their fifth annual Washington County HealthCares Expo at the Greenville Mall this Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in conjunction with National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month.  This year the following WCEA/Chamber Members will be available to provide information and various screenings:  Aflac Insurance; Allegiance Specialty Hospital; Bruce Fioranelli Allstate; Continue Care Home Health; Delta Heart & Vascular Center; Delta Pediatric Care; Delta Regional Medical Center; Health Help Greenville; Helping Hands Care; Hodding Carter Memorial YMCA; Hollandale Family Care; Humana Insurance; Leland Medical Clinic; Mid-Delta Home Health; MS Tobacco Free Coalition; Northwest MS Kidney Center; River Heights Healthcare Center; Sta-Home Home Health; and Valor Manor.

Vearnail Herzog, Healthcare Committee Chair, said “We are excited to host this year’s expo during the month of November, National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month.  Speaker Andy Agnew, Program Director with Alzheimer's Mississippi, will talk at 10:30 am about this disease and the strides that are being made in terms of research.  Plus, throughout the morning we are going to offer glucose, blood pressure, BMI’s, and other screenings and information.  It should be are very busy Thursday morning!  We look forward to seeing everyone and helping educate our community!”  For more information contact the WCEA at 662.378.3141.
