Washington County Economic Alliance to Host 14th Annual Golf & Gathering on September 24
GREENVILLE, Miss. — The Washington County Economic Alliance (WCEA) Chamber will host its 14th Annual Golf & Gathering, presented by Regions Bank, on Thursday, September 24, at the Greenville Golf & Country Club. The event brings together business and community leaders from across the Mississippi Delta for a day of networking, friendly competition, and support for the Chamber’s mission of strengthening the local business community.
The tournament has become one of the Chamber’s signature annual events, drawing more than 100 golfers representing businesses and organizations from throughout the region. Teams will enjoy a four-person scramble, lunch served on the course, contests, prizes, and an awards reception following play.
Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m., with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. Lunch will be provided on the course beginning at noon, followed by the awards reception at 3:00 p.m.
Proceeds from the Golf & Gathering support the Chamber’s year-round programming, including workforce initiatives, business education, networking opportunities, advocacy efforts, and economic development projects that help strengthen Washington County’s business climate.
“Golf & Gathering is much more than a golf tournament,” said Mary Catherine Brooks, Chamber Director for the Washington County Economic Alliance. “It’s an opportunity for our business community to come together, build relationships, and invest in the continued growth of Washington County. We are incredibly grateful to Regions Bank for serving as our title sponsor and to all of the businesses and volunteers who make this event possible each year.”
The Chamber is currently accepting team registrations and sponsorships. Individuals and businesses of all sizes are encouraged to participate, whether by entering a team, sponsoring a hole, or supporting one of the many activities held throughout the day.
